I have seen ZZ Top live six times, that I remember, could have been more. They have always put on the best show I have seen. They were my favorite band before MTV made them megastars. I prefer the "Fandago" days, but most folks remember this:

I like ZZ Top but even more before the theatrics of Hollywood & MTV took
over. I'd rather have the grit & grime of earlier ZZ, like 'La Grange' or 'Beer
Drinkers & Hell Raisers'. Hollywood TV is turning all country stars into some
kind of 'pretty boys'. Bring back the men & the 'outlaws' .
