That would last me long enough until I heard the next round of gunfire in that area. Maybe lightening does strike twice

If I hear gunshots in a building nearby, I definitely am not going in there to investigate. You could become the next victim. I would go to the other side of the street and keep my distance from that building in case the shooting was carried outside in the streets. Better safe than sorry. If I were not armed, I definitely would not go to a gunfight with a knife, and even if I were armed, I wouldn't want to get caught up in someone else's fight. I would pick up the pace and get out of their range if possible. rockhound

I will relate a parallel story. DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IN MY VAN YEARS BACK WITH MY 5 KIDS. We see money blowing around on the road. We stop and all get out and grab the money. I say, I got $40, how much did you kids get? It mounted up to about $300. Then My older son said and i got the wallet! I said what wallet, let me see it. I said to the kids ,this money has a name on it so we drove over to the persons house. His wife was there and we returned it. The kids were sad, but they understood! I gave them each $10 and we went to the mall. IT SOME TIMES PAINES YOU TO BE HONEST, BUT YOU CAN LIVE EASIER WITH THE PERSON IN THE MIRROR!
