Awesome large cents! The copper thing with two holes looks to be a whizzer toy, maybe colonial, being Civil War era at the latest. I have one made from a 1730's George II copper. I am jealous of all of those amazing finds, also great that both large cents have readable dates.

Also, Your whizzer toy may be made from a coin, check for some evidence of design! Awesome find with that one!

Well done CD! The whizzer toy is sweet. Hand made for some little kid... at least 150 years ago. You ought to put it on a string and make it whiz again.
