Went grocery shopping last night and stopped in at the credit union in the store. Usually when you ask them about halves, they say they're saving them for someone. Not tonight. They had one Ike, clad, and 6 half dollars. I checked them when I got home and of the 6, 3 were 40%: 67,68,69. So not a bad return on checking for coins. I also picked up some dollar coins as I have been using them to get them into circulation. In addition, our pop machine at work doesn't take dollar bills any more, but will take dollar coins.
