I drove the 60 second drive down to the good ol' USA today. I got permission to do a great yard, it is huge an I only covered part of it. I'm happy with my finds-- IH pennies, US and CAN silver, nice silver ring, dog tag, religious medal, neat toy gun, and some clad to boot. It's nice to find some variety! Thanks for looking HH

The CAN customs officer says "bringing anything back?", I said yes: a couple bucks in change and rusty old toy...oh, and a bag of apples that Mrs. S (property owner) insisted I bring home. Customs officer says "have a nice day".

It's not a brooch, it's what's left of a ring, only the band is missing. It's a nice little polished agate in a silver mount. I could have a jeweler add a plain silver band...would be nice.

Nice finds. I am glad you did not have any trouble at the border. I bought a water unit to swim across the border. It is apple season here as well. Good luck on that yard.
