I have been hunting this area for a while , and located a house site above the Ms. river. it took some time , because land owner does not won't me walking around while hunting is going on, and I don't like to get shot at. After going thur a lot and I mean a lot of dirt and charcoal, I started finding artifacts. 2 ebay pics 028.jpgI was on fire, stone artifacts where popping up every where, then I hit what I thought was a bone. I did not know what I had till I got home and cleaned it up.[ATT[ACH=CONFIG]835332[/ATTACH]ebay pics 016.jpgebay pics 017.jpg

Looks like you are in the rite place to find something great. I have no idea on the last piece but it looks interesting. Congrats on your finds, rock

That bone piece is the real deal. I can see were you hit it digging....ouch. It looks like a scoop. Thanks for the pics.

Now that is interesting.
Pretty cool!
With as much wear and polish as there is on the bottom I wonder if it may have been used as sort of a fine grit sanding / polishing block for bone or wood.
