A little different, but interesting and I found it today

You have everyone on the edge of their seats now! Looking forward to hearing what you found!!!

Find anything yet.

Could be a Geraldo repeat (anyone get the reference?) It's public land but you can only get a shovel out there.
yea I remember that special I watched it with my dad lol

Looks like it could be a cool find. Just hope this doesn't turn out to be one of "those" posts.

Maybe a capped well.
Be careful.

What are 'those' posts?

It is on top of a small ridge - not a place to put a well.

THOSE posts are when people start a great treasure story or cache search and then never finish the story or report the finds. I hate those:BangHead::sadsmiley:.

Do you think it might be a site used by the leatherman when he roamed around.

Did the Leatherman roam as far as Boston, I thought he stayed/lived in Westchester county area.

I'm familiar with the Leatherman. Not sure if he was here.
There is a story of a house being haunted for generations about 1/2 mile from this thing.
There's a Native American grinding stone within several hundred feet, I'll post a photo.

I can tie this to

Never ran across anything like that, could be anything from an old smokehouse/root celler to a burial mound.

I would probably see if I could get a small opening near the cap if possible. It might be completely filled in.

If you know anyone with a snake/drain cam that might be a good route to not disturb anything until you know what it is if you find an opening.
