A little help with a sterling makers mark?

I have been trying to figure this out but am having no luck. Anyone have any ideas?











They are spoons that say sterling 1904. Here is the design.

It looks like Gorham.

Capitol G for (Gorham) I don't know anything about monogram removal but it just sounds like a bad idea. It could have belonged to someone important !
