A little tot lot silver in the sun shine, shinny bling, but not the gold kind.

Nice day out today, late start and second choice on the tot lot, but not bad, saved by 3 silver blings and a surprise wheat.

First tot lot was on private land and gated, so off to second choice, which is much larger. A little slow on the start but after 3 hours I found the silver! Still no rings of any kind, kinda strange.

The earring back gave a weird signal and was just laying in the wood chips, so I'm thinking now if I can just find the earring we may pull this off, a foot over, another weird signal, Ta Da! Bright sparkling bling...we all know what I thought...:hello2: gold!!! Ya, well...I can hope!
Then little heart appeared, then the dangle earring!
Stud is 925 CZ, heart is 925, dangle earring isn't marked but looks like silver. Will test it tomorrow. image.webp image.webp

Hope your detecting day was awesome!

Nice to see all your swinging pay off with some silver MsBB! :occasion14:
That's a lot of digging for one hunt, you must've been out there a while!

Congrats,
Dave

You must have been reading those Carolina Boys' posts. You learned well! Hope your gold shows up on the day you have your camera with you and we get to see it dirty!

Congratulations on the productive day!

Way to go MsBeep. That gold will show up soon

ANTIQUARIAN - Thanks! That hunt was about 2 1/2- 3 hours. That's average hunt time for me. When I start getting into 4 hours I have to start assessing my ability to drive home (with out taking a nap first!).

Well OD, I pack light going into the hunt (gold's heavy! Lol!). I do have my new cell ph with me....now if I can just figure out how to use the camera I may be able to comply with that request...then again, jumping up and down and trying to take pics may not turn out too well...if I remember to take the pics!

Thank you Proffessor!

Ahab- I'm a very patient person, i did spot a tiny speck of it laying on the side walk earlier in the spring, but getting the detector to find it is another story. When the detector says pull tab it's a pull tab!
