I'm greatful I stumbled across this site last night. I recently purchased myself and my 7 year old nephew metal detectors in search for a hobbie that isn't a video game (A few months ago I found an old detector I had when I was a kid and he expressed intrest in it). I picked up a Tesoro Tejon for me and bought him a Bounty Hunter Jr. So far its been a sucess. We live in central NC and have gone to a few old home sites. No outstanding finds at this point but the kid loves to dig so the search continues.
