The old saying of..."records were made to be broken" again holds to be true with me as I set yet another personal record. Finding 24 Canadian cents in 1 box is the most I ever found. The oldest date is 1957. Even though they aren't worth anything except for their copper, I've been saving them & I have several hundred.

I guess Canada is sending all their pennies down here since they no longer use them.

ROAD TRIP TIME!!!

i had a penny box with 200+ canadian cents in it a while back, i think my second most in a box was around 40... it's weird, must have been a canadian dump or collection dump... how'd you do witih wheats?

Thats it? The most Canadian cents I have ever gotten in a box was 2500. :tongue3: Now try and beat that!

I picked up a box of CWR when I was on Vacation in Niagra Falls, and pulled only two us coins, rest were canadians(:

Ahh you lucky sneaky!
My record was 2512 Canadian pennies in one box. Rolls were CWR so 6 rolls looked weirdly long at the first glance, sure enough I got .12 of a dollar for free. Also a great surprise was that there were no US pennies. The box came from an old local community, so that explains stuff.
Not sure if anyone here can beat my record, but who knows.
