A new sheriff in town & he has bullets! VIDEO follies too!

First a video for your viewing pleasure. :tongue3: That is not a large belly I have showing in the video. It's a barley & hops storage facility and a wide angle lens was used too. ;D Enjoy.


I hit the 1830's house for about 3 hours after work today. It was hot & humid, but I needed my fix. :icon_sunny:
I worked the back field and also a trashy area where the old kitchen used to sit. It's amazing what pops up when you turn down the discrimination and dig those iffy signals. Still lots to be found. No coins today ( :'( ) but I did get some keepers.
Here's my finds:

*Two 3-ringers - One has a carved tip, and the other has a solid base.
Can anyone ID the one with the solid base?

*Roy Rogers Deputy Sheriff badge. Oh yeah, Trigger too. ;D

*My very first FULL harmonica reed. :thumbsup:

*Four small flat buttons. Three w/shanks. I don't see any back marks. :'(

*Variety of pottery pieces.

*"Indelible Creme" tube. Lipstick?

*Asst'd unknown whats-its? Any ideas?

Not a bad hunt.

Even though you didn't find any coins on the trip, you still found quite a few nice buttons and relics to boot. Where there are buttons and relics, there are coins to be found. Keep at it with your extreme fever, my good buddy!

I keep trying to get one of me digging up a coin , button, bullet, etc. to post, but every time I roll film I end up digging junk. :'( I'll get a real keeper on vid one of these times. :thumbsup:

Btw Doug, every time I see that commercial on TV about the guy metal detecting the beach and finding the TV for the guest room and the yellow Pinto, and the pick up bed full of coins, I think of you.
I think "Yep, Doug would be the one to find all that stuff while others would find nothing but broken sea shells." lmao. :D :D
