I have often read about the difficulty with MDs finding chains. Well I got lucky today, maybe because of the clasp. But I made a side stop on my way to my intended target area and found this 4 gram 14K bracelet. It slipped through the holes first time and then the second scoop I couldn't find it anywhere. Then to my amazment it got caught up in the holes and was laying aside the scoop.

Then a few moments later the Excal II started giving me that low battery signal. I thought the hell with it. I'm an hour into a 4 hour hunt I'll go until the darn thing dies.

ANother 2 hours later and I get a decent signal. Up from the sea rises this white metal circle. No oxidation or corrosion. I see it has an inscription but it is also a spinner ring. I think No way could I have found another gold spinner ring.

When I get it home and check it with the loupe I see "Steel". I'm thinking what cheap Bass Turd gets his girl a stainless steel ring!

Thanks for looking and good luck out there.

It's not the metal, but what it stands for. A lot of folks can't afford gold at this time, heck, a lot of folks can't afford titanium.

That bracelet is a great find though, congrats. :icon_thumright:
