A pair of golds

Hit the beach for a cpl hours tonight larger ring is 14k and the smaller one is 18k. Question on the stone i was thinking it may be sapphire. But on the rim of the top theres very small chipping. Any thoughts

Given the chipping you mentioned I'm inclined to say morganite or possibly pink tourmaline. Both are popular pink-hued gemstones for faceting, but tend to be brittle and may chip if they hit hard surfaces.

Nice stuff there. The pink could be tourmaline, morganite beryl, rose quartz (unlikely) or cubic zirconia.

Nice couple of beach saves! I'm with paleomaxx and smokeythecat. Morganite or tourmaline, pink tourmaline being the more common.

Congrats on the two Gold ring finds! I agree that the stone is not an Amethyst but no matter, it can be replaced fairly easily and cheap if you decide to do so. There are lots of Pear cut gems available online and all you need is the correct or near correct measurements of the current gem.
