A point re-worked or a knife to start out with?

Too bad I nicked this on,but it happens...Still a nice turtle backed scraper..

My guess would be a knife, and a fine one at that. Probably meant to be hafted but it did'nt turn out quite perfect.

Looks rebased / salvaged. That Castro looks like it has some size to it, and got a bit too close to the fire at some time too..lol.
