A rare walk over dry sand

I very rarely hunt the dry sand but i think i will start paying more attention to it now. I took a quick ride over to the beach to see if there were any cuts but there were none to be found. In my hurry i forgot my hip boots so i hunted the dry sand . its funny how things work out i snaged these 2 beauties in 20 minutes. I could not believe my eyes. I havent hunted much latley with all the chores and things going on in my house and i have been hitting the old beach from the late 1800s with my infinium with pretty good results. This time I went to a regular beach to check for the cuts and found these 2 beauties with the infinium. I am in love with this machine i bought it to get a little deeper for the winter time to keep me going untill summer and the plan is working great. So great I think my cabin fever will be a brief one this winter. I don't know if the diamonds are real or not and i don't care. I just love to see gold in my scoop. Below is the picture of the 2 rings and a group picture of most of the stuff I found with the infinium since i purchased it in late Augest.

Nice finds. I still say 95% or more of the gold is in the water, but if everyone does the water, that still leaves 5% in the sand for somebody to find.

It depends on what is lost in the dry sand,where you are hunting,but I have found most of my ring finds in the dry sand this year.Of the 20 gold rings I have found ,in 2008,only 6 have came from the water.HH Ron
