A Roman Site - 53 Bronze + 2 Hammered...

This was a 6 hour hunt on Monday just gone.
It was our last chance to do this area as the beans were at a stage that we exit. So we gridded 95% of the Roman Site, the rest can be done after harvest. This site has never been that great with only 1 Roman Silver turning up. However, I'm not sure if they have done a deeper turn but we beat our best ever 1 day result from this site by quite some way. Previous highest was 36.

17th C Buckle
Medieval Thimble
Bit of a Roman fibula (Military crossbow type)
Roman Hob-Nail
Hammered Penny of Ed I Canterbury Mint
Hammered Penny of Ed III Durham Mint (Harder to find mint)

I know you've posted all of your gold coin finds, but I would love to see a picture of all of your hammered silver.

That's a little more tricky as most of its in a coin album with full inscriptions including GPS.
We just broke 900 yesterday.

It must be very exciting pulling all those coins in. I especially like all of the coins but the hammered coins must really be thrilling to find! That Ed 1=WOW
