well grabed this at a estate,only missing 2 dimes on the bracelet,all good engraving also,weighs alltoghter about a troy ounce...
what do you in the coin world think of love tokens and coins of such?

Now...are love tokens coins that have been grinded down on one side and engraved, or are they just made to look like coins?
Anyway, my first thought was that it was a dog collar or something. It could be a nice gaudy bracelet. I'm not exactly sure of the size of it.

I cringe every time I see a good old coin drilled and marred, however, those tokens are cool and unique and almost justifies ruining a nice old coin...

Snee - love tokens start out as regular coins, but are smoothed out on one side (usually the reverse) and then hand engraved. Some folks who collect coins specialize in love tokens.
