A small piece of ground gives up some silver

A old Motel that sits on a ridge and on the back side I suppose is where people sat and looked at this beautiful view. I hunted for about an hour and a half and must say I really enjoyed this little piece of ground. The sterling ring has a maker's mark. I think the ring might be pretty old , if anyone recognizes the mark please let me know. Thanks for looking !!

If the makers mark is a "U" with and arrow through it, then it is Uncas.
