A story and a Picture of my find

[davehky]

I sent a story and a picture of my find to a garrett site and they sent me this gift in my mail for participating! I sent them a pic of the 3 silver wedding bands likened together from a beach I detected near my home. Nice patch of my detector they sent me.

From the land of the Bluenose.....from a Garrett swinger only of way too many years....I'm jealous. Nice patch me son!

Fancy that. I dug the same looking thing off the beach this weekend. Thought I was digging a quarter. No visible hallmark that I could find on it but it came out looking like silver and rang up in that range.

Can't see who'd wear this as a wedding ring though, I think it'd be uncomfortable and awkward.

I use to have a silver ring that was linked similar to this. It was a puzzle ring that would make one ring when a secret way to link them was known. I don't know if this is a puzzle ring or not , but they are real common in the middle east as a novelty. I bought mine in Libya in 1964when stationed at Wheelus Air Base at Tripoli. That was before Kadaffe overthrew King Idris. That was the way Kadaffe spelled his name back then. Monty
