Well, everything cooperated for me today.
Weather, time, a target rich, never been
hunted place. I started digging one foot from the
car and went for at least 6 straight hours!
But, that wasn't the "first".

Still, what a smorgasborg!

You be the judge:

Fishy even called out the guard dog
to keep the ring. If you look close
you can see it might be relations.
Its a Dolphin ring. :tongue3:

So Blingie will have to suffer with just
a shiny old quarter. ;)

For some reason, I am a lil pooped!

Oh yeah!! The "first" thing. For the
first time ever, I dug a "pocket spill"
where they kept their ring in the
same pocket!! :tongue3:

Thanks for peeking folks!

Great job now you have a new place to pound for the next year or so Well done my friend

Target every three minutes? Yes you're pooped! Congratulations!:hello2:

Do not tell or say where you got any of this , keep it all to your self and dig it just for yourself to find== nothing wrong with that RIGHT, anybody would do it. Very Happy Hunting

cool ! I miss days like that.
6 hours used to be a Half Day
that was only cut short due to rain:tongue3:

Very nice hunk of Change !
& oldies Too ! Can't beat that :coffee2:

Now we're metal detecting. Great day.:icon_thumright:

WOW havn't you ever heard of "easy does it" lol
You must have muscles sore that you haven't felt in a long time. Love that ring

Wowzers Whadi! Looks like around $15.00 in clad alone (which will pay for a date night,) not to mention a silver coin and silver ring (?) Outstanding hunt and I would hit that place hard again when you have recovered from your three hundred squats...:laughing7: Now, only children of the late 1970's-1980's, or their parents, would catch your reference to the film, Charolette's Web, when Templeton the rat sang, " A fair is a veritable smorgasbord, orgasbord, after the crowds have gone!" Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)

WHADI, now that is a hunt like you used to post all the time. Congrats on that haul.

Awesome hunt with lots of goodies! :occasion14:

As Grady would say on Sandford and Son, "Good Goobily Goop"!!! Great haul there WHADIFIND, Congrats!!!! "D"

Amazing!!! Congrats!!!
Now that is a great haul!
Congrats on your pocket spill.

Glad you were up to the 6 hour challenge. Kinda hard to leave when the pickings are that good.
So happy you found prime detecting ground for yourself.

Looks like Fishy is king for the day! Guard...uh, dog and all. Blingie will be fine, that quarter is shinny enough to hold his attention for a while.

The best part, there's more surprises there for you!
Maybe even that item you wanted this year. πŸ˜€

Very well done sir!

No happy dance needed, we want you in one piece to go explore some more!

A very rewarding hunt for sure. All the hours and hard work paid off big time in clad. Congrats

Thanks for all the response folks. But, let me tell you a secret. I would, very easily, trade all those coins in this hunt for a couple really nice, really old coins coming out. I wouldn't even mind putting in major hours to only get one or two really special ones.

Ah well....this was fun too. I suppose.

Thanks again and Happy Yom Kippur to any celebrating.
