A very nice clad monday $ AND TUESDAY UPDATE !

I've got this week off and the wife was off today so we decided to go to the fairgrounds in the next county as the fair there ended saturday night ! arrived about 1 pm and off we went

the wife did her hop and skip here and there and i just picked a spot where the boothes would have been , in four hours i covered about a 10 by 60 foot area and man was it sweet

I was surprized that only a few coins was on top the ground and most I dug down to as much as 5 inches to get :icon_scratch:

In 4 hours time I had found $12.73 and the wife found $7.57 :thumbsup:

In the pic the wifes finds are in the paper plate

it was a $20.30 day for us and one of our best clad days for 4 hours for sure :icon_pirat:

was hoping for a ring or bracelet but it didnt happen but the clad was very nice, Well I'm off tommorow again but the wife"s got to work :'(

the minelabs battery is being charged ! ( do you think I'm going back tommorow ? ) YOU BET :headbang:

and to add to an already great day we came home and did some grilling and down home cooking :wink:

Grilled ribs , corn on the cob baked beans and fried green tomatoes :love10:

I've been to that fairground. It's been quite awhile, but I have been!!!

Hope you ate B4 your hunt. As for me if I had at that good looking food first, it would've been NAP TIME! Good goin on the coin. Around here all of the Fair grounds are fenced in and locked. To bad for me . Wish you more luck when you go back. D.D.

I went back to the same fairgrounds today ! the wife had to work so for about 3 hours i came out with $6.35 cents more ! not as good as yesterday but still a good day :thumbsup:

and i did find a 1952 D wheatie also !

Speaking of fairs, I went to one last week too. As I passed the game where you throw the ping pong balls into the bowls to win a goldfish, I thought of what a pain in the butt that is if you do win a fish. First you have to tote the poor thing around the fair all day, and when you get home you have to buy about $30 worth of supplies for the fish. :'(

I told my wife they should reverse that game. They should have it where you try to throw goldfish into the bowls to win ping pong balls.
