Thursday, Friday, Saturday trip hunting.. XP DEUS II is my goto machine...

Most of the change, and the 62 silver quarter came from the same schoolyard, (top secret hush hush) Somewhere in Georgia...
Story behind that is that 2 weeks ago, me and the wife were day tripping and we came across that school and I hopped out and hunted the playground, since the wife isn't much into it, I did not stay long, but in 20-30 minutes I had 13 quarters .... a LOT for a playground at a school., So I marked it on google maps and it was 4 1/2 hours from home...
My partner took 3 days off, and we drove back down and hunted it GOOD... 🤣 I got an additional 24 clad quarters and the 62 quarter, and he got probably 35 quarters.. plus other change.
The Indian I got from an abandoned house we stopped at on the way, and the second silver quarter came from a medium strip in a small town in Georgia that we stopped at on our way back this morning.. Sadly we went to the beach for a few hours friday night in Hilton Head and barely made coffee money... just no targets..
So we went inland to hunt parks and schools and went back to that school I had found 2 weeks ago..
For the 3 days, there was no special jewelry, sadly.. no gold rings or o anything..

We are going to look for a "Nat hat" that screens our face from flying bugs... they did not bite but the ear buzzing was mind blowing..

yes, certain areas of Georgia are plagued with Nats.
I do get bothered as mush as others, but i smoke.

I have read Blue Star, or Blue Emu is a good repellant also.
I put it on my dogs' legs to keep snakes and chiggers away.
Learned that from an old Georgia Treasure hunter who wrote a book.
He called it Blue Ointment back in the 1960's
Those are the closest two things I've found.
He also mentioned clove oil.

Somewhere outside Savanna Georgia, around Statesboro … driving one of those roads we were shocked at the number of abandoned motels along that stretch of road.. must have seen 20 🤷🏼‍♂️

Those old motel are on old highways, those old highways used to be the major route/s through the area before the interstate was built, after the interstate was finished they were bypassed and there was no more traffic and no customers/travelers to keep them in business.

There are thousands of them abandoned all over the country, one of the most famous of those old highways is "Route 66" out west.
