A week in Boca

Hey all,

I am spending a few days in Boca Raton at the beginning of March. I know that I will have some time on my hands.

Should I pack my CTX and a sand scoop?

Should I rent a detector?

Should I bother?

I am not familiar with the area, so I will leave it up to the community to give me guidance here.

yes I always take mine. not sure how much it gets hunted...parking is incredibly expensive!

I take a detector everywhere I go. So, I also would vote to take it!

I fear damage while making the trip out and back.

I am looking at buying a hard case and foam cutter.

I would just pack the upper control part in carry on and the rest in checked luggage.

OK, I am taking it with. My Pelican case arrived today, so I will be a foam cutting fool this week.

I am still blown away that my wife allowed the purchase...

Will post pics of the case fitting in case someone finds it interesting.
