Ok this is wierd, I have a Honda Trail C70 , some may remember them, It appears to be military surplus. Its a 1980. sand in military paint. interesting stencils,,,,(ill try and post a pic)... My Question is Did any of youy see these being used on base, or other places?

My best guess would be a custom paintjob someone wanted for their C70

I dont think so, The repairs to the frame seem military. And the insignia also.

Perhaps necessity fostered good old American ingenuity? Several times I recall military vehicles being modified for other than its intendid usage. It looks like some inventive GI may have wanted cheap transportation for something like a mail pickup vehicle, etc? Monty
