Above Leadville, CO

We went out east of Leadville on Lake County Rd. 1A, out past where the tourists end. Lots of mining there in the past. The light wasn't that great and getting worse, but I took a few pics anyway.

I probably would know Jamie by sight, but not by name. I live over here in Frisco and work in retail so I get to see about everybody here in the mountains but I ain't too good on names. Jamie might recognize me quicker.

NG the Arkansas starts up north from Leadville, just below the Climax mine. It comes out of a 24 inch culvert under the highway. Of course, things get out of hand farther on down stream from there!
