I don't know if you've already made your purchase but I really would strongly recommend going up to the 250. If you can't spend the extra $50 try to find a used one.

I see this post is a few years old. I am a guy who got started with the BH Tracker IV and just upgraded to the ace 250 used, I don't know what my wife paid for the BH as it was a gift and it was a complete surprise!, I enjoyed using the BH and found a lot of coin and cool stuff. it was my first machine and I had never used on until then. I found the ACe 250 used and bought it last Sat for the sum of $120., I went and rehunted an area of my yard I had been over with the BH a few times and I found more coins,, , The 250 has more controls and indicators at are easy to understand, and well worth having, I only have 5 hours of use thus far but I recommend the machine, I really like the pin point feature !
