ACE 250 is in the mail!

Well, I ordered the ace 250 with sniper coil from Kellyco!

My first target is my grandfathers house/land/garden. It used to be a carriage stop, built in the Mid- 1800's.

Any advice on which coil to use for a place like this?

If it came with the standard coil I would use that. Then use the sniper for the trashy areas. Go to the Garrett forum on this site and read up on all of the Ace 250 topic's. It will help you on your quest while you wait for your detector.

ive had mine for about 3 years now and i can attest that if its in the ground it will be found by the ace 250.
its a great product.

I personally love the standard coil.. I got the sniper for Xmas I personally hate the dang coil!!!

I went out this past weekend with Bavriamike and used his ACE 250... great machine!!! I am not experinced, but after a 5 min lesson I was well on my way with some good finds!!! I got my Bounty Hunter Tracker IV in the mail yesterday...I miss the PINPOINT feture of the ACE!! I have dig half my yard up. Still taking time to learn the new machine....knowing now, I should have got the ACE 250...Learn it, take it out an find something !!!! see my post...

yes the standard is a great size.
sure the baby coil can get you into a really tight space.
but im going to stay with the happy medium.
