Quick question - what is type of stone is used for acid testing? Slate?
 
Any abrasive stone works. It's the residue of gold, silver ect., left on stone, that acids reveal. Peace
 
Cool. Gonna find myself a nice piece of 19th-century roofing slate. Thanks!
