Admiral Dewey souvenir spoon, crotal bell, and a buckle

Today I once again rehunted a spot that I have done with the ACE 250. Now the machine of choice is the Minelab 705.

The crotal bell was the first decent find of the day at about 8" deep. Loud and clear signal. The spoon rang in as a pull tab. But was only down about 2". I am glad that I did not chop it with my shovel as I didnt dig a very big plug. The final keeper for the day was the buckle. I always like finding these. This one has a funny shape to it :icon_scratch:

No pics today of the pile of can slaw and bullets ;D

P.S, One neat thing about the spoon for me being from Vermont is that George Dewey was born in Vermont in 1837. Lots of info about the man and his career.

Thanks guys !! I have poked arround the internet and found alot of info on the spoon. Very neat find for me and now one of my favorites !!
