Had a bad week, someone broke into my car stole 2 coils, 2 pin pointers, digging tools and work items. Then last night had to hold over for a sixteen hour shift so I couldn't go on the club hunt today. So me and my buddy Bryan decide to go hit an old park today. After about an hour I get this signal on the V3i good green freq from 3 different angles and a red one from the side. I dig down 5-6" and see a silver coin standing straight up and down in between some roots. I slowly work it out and see it's not a Barber or Merc. So Bryan sprays it off for me and it's a 1837 CAPPED BUST>. My first ever, never did I think I would get one from a park in Spokane. Later on got another solid signal at 9" dug up a 1898 Barber and I felt let down. Oh well hopefully life is changing for the better. Happy Easter to all of you or Happy Hunting

I'm from spokane an I'm haven't found anything that old yet. Must be hitting the wrong parks. Also how are you digging your targets in the parks? I know they say only probes/screwdrivers can be used, but deep targets it's kinda hard to.
Talk with the park people they are more tolerant, I use long screwdrivers. Also if the park employees need help with sprinkler location help em out. Also they want you to leave the sprinkler heads uncovered. Always fill your hole and brush the excess dirt away

That's a couple Sweet dimes but, that Capped Bust is Awesome!! A Killer find and a bucket lister for sure.
Congrats!!

44 years was worth every minute of waiting when you pulled that bust dime out! HUGE CONGRATS!!!

I could stand being busted like this, instead of being busted with no money....lol

Nice one. Still looking for my first bust coin. Congrats!

Sorry to hear bout your bad luck with the break in but I say things are definitely looking up now.

Congratulations on the Awesome Dime's CB Coins are hard to find anywhere these days .

I'm like Huntsma53 ; tho it makes it a pain to get everything together every time I go Hunting, I can not take that kind of loss. Hope you get yr Stuff back .... It does Happen.

Super nice way of overcoming some adversity! Those are beautiful coins. The draped bust gorgeous.I'm shocked that it was dug out in Spokane. BIG CONGRATS!!!

Excellent silver dimes!
Congrats on your first bust dime!

I hope you recover your equipment.
Would it be covered under your home owners or car insurance?

Holy smokes! I don't know if I've ever even heard of someone finding a capped bust coin in Washington. Congratulations!

Accept my adoration of your sweet finds! :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

She's 181 years old, but doesn't look a day over 140.
