Change to my stock coil and decided to just take my time and stroll the fields and see what happens ! well i found a few things 1887 Indian ,some drawer pulls , reeds, hinge, and clock parts on the right, On the left were all surface finds arrowhead stone marble, buttons, and the bottle from the creek, I am 56 years old and in the creek i feel like i am 10 again until i sit down!!!! lots of fun unreal how many broken 1800,s and early 1900 bottles are broken in all the creeks i hunt but after a good storm normally i can pull 1 or 2 bottles out.

Don't sit on any of those broken bottles! That broken arrowhead is a real heartbreaker. It's hard to tell what kind of point is was without the base, but the shape, cross section, and super smooth flaking tell me it was likely a dovetail and a real nice one at that. Just a guess, but I'd almost bet the farm on it. You've got a great place to hunt. Gary

It's starting to rain a lot in the afternoons. One of my favorite things to do is explore the creeks. Sometimes I move big rocks to create a barrier to wash stuff out of the bank for me. I just come back after a big rain. I sure love the native artifact maybe you will find the rest someday!!
