It looks like great find to me. Could you show us more pictures?

The first picture I posted does a better job of showing the clarity of the arrowhead...

Very nice point. Congratulations

Sent from my iPhone using TreasureNet

Sweet point !!!!! Congrats boss !!!

Great looking Point. It does look like an early Point and could be a Paleo type.

Check out this site and maybe you'll see one like it.

Wyoming State Arrowhead Identification Guide

Thanks for the link! So would it be "Pryor"? The guy at the museum told me it was probably 4-5K years old. This might actually be older though, if I am identifying it correctly. (I am a newbie, sorry)

Awesome Find! :icon_thumright:

It is not a Pryor Stemmed. It could be a reworked Lovell Constricted 8500 bce.

Nice find great material Hells Gap maybe ?

Not terribly far from there - I am actually about 25 miles east of Guernsey (Hells Gap is 13 miles North of Guernsey - I googled) :)

I can't find that on the ID site (Lovell Constricted)... (?)

Very nice...the second pictures show the nice work done on it...not seen one like that.:icon_thumright:..thanks for sharing & welcome to the site!

Here is a composite sketch of a Lovell Constricted. But yours looks like it was reworked.

Great find! Look for more!

I am not an arrowhead hunter, as I just stumbled upon this, but it has made me want to start hunting! This leads to my question. I hear people talking about "digging". Would my next step be to literally dig around where I found this? How deep would I dig, and how far around? Also, is it worth anything? (or is it just cool) Thanks for all the replies!

i have found similar ones that the ND state historical society said were in the duncan, duncan hanna, hanna, and northern hanna types
but i might be way off
