The first picture looks like horse shoe nails.I've been searching my yard looking for relics predating my house (1966). I've found these nails which do predate the house, but I'm wondering if anyone could give me a date range for them.

I'm trying to get an idea of type of horseshoe nails. I've found some info that leads me to think they would be hand forged therefore pre-1800. Of course, I can find all kinds of info on dating horseshoes.The first picture looks like horse shoe nails.
The 2nd photo square nails and dating pre 1900 more than likely.
