Found this listerine bottle sticking out of the dirt behind a smokehouse built in 1874. I cant find this specific listenerine bottle online in google. Can anyone find me the same bottle on the internet? Im guessing its the only bottle made because it dosent come up on google. It has a line on each side the bottle what is that line?
Also it has on the bottom of the bottle 18 or 81 depending what way you turn it is it 18 or 81? And a diamond or rhombus shape. What does those things mean? What is the age on this bottle? Two people told me its from the 1980s. Is it true? When was it really produced? Can anyone please tell me the history of listerine or my bottle? 20210128_230744.jpg 20210128_230748.jpg 20210128_230801.jpg 20210128_230934.jpg 20210128_231121.jpg 20210128_231706.jpg 20210128_231732.jpg 20210128_231746.jpg 20210128_231752.jpg 20210128_231806.jpg 20210128_231817.jpg

Try doing a Google search for terms like: "Vintage Listerine bottles",
or maybe even "History of Listerine", as that's the best way for you
to learn about the item. Not only will you often get your questions
answered, but you'll also gain knowledge that you can use to help others.

Much of what I've learned about different things over the years has come
from doing the research for other people.

As for your bottle, I do believe it's from the recent past but can't pin down
a date. Found one like it on etsy..
