Alas, no ring

Went out to my trashy beach again this morning sure that THIS was the day. Nope! It wasn't! I ended up with 90 cents, a small heavily encrusted lock (which I already knock a lot of it off), the end of a battery cable and the usual pull tabs & junk.

Well I did get out and it was a pretty day even if it was a little cool this morning but it soon warmed up. I'll take it! :wink:

We've starved to death many times. My wife always asks me when I get back " are we eating tonight " meaning did I find enough to buy a meal for us both, referring to many years ago during the glory hole days when we still found virgin beaches and I had said to her " hey! maybe I could make a living at this " so she likes to tease me with the question everytime I come back from a hunt. While on occasion we have had a feast or a banquet, more over, we have ended up with leftovers or scraps and would have completely starved to death by this time if it were not for our $1 & $2 coins. But that's just a game with the coins, as I sure can't complain because when we sold our motorhome last year and bought a condo, my collection of gold from the prior 3 seasons bought all new furniture for the place, when I cashed it in. These days, it all comes down to a heck of a lot of luck, some research, and just being in the right place at the right time, with the right equipment and mucho stick-to-it-ness.
