Albany OR visit in july

I'll be visiting the Albany area in July looking to do some detecting, nugget shooting and maybe some panning. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Look into quartzville above green peter lake, up by sweet home. That’s close to Albany. If not there just over an hour away there’s the Brice creek area up in the Bohemia District out side of Cottage Grove. The weekend of July 14 is Bohemia mining days in CG.

There is about 7 miles of public access on Brice Creek.
