XP ORX with elliptical coil - The elliptical coil runs at a higher frequency for small nugget hunting. My 9" HD coil runs at 54khz which in theory is still better than the 40khz the nox runs at but the elliptical runs at 80khz which should do even better on gold.

Both machines are excellent though btw.... I prefer the weight and price tag of the ORX

In theory, XP should work, but the few years I've been looking for gold nuggets in mountains and desert(socal) I've never seen anyone using one. That said I believe it could work well with a XP, and I'm sure I could find some youtube videos with XP devices finding nugs, but the gold monster dominates, being in half the hands, and the other half, nox800, goldmasters, goldbugs, even AT golds. Its alot easier finding a nugget when you know its there, either a planted or test garden, but I'm talking about finding native gold nugget in the wild. Have you found nuggets with your XPs?
