Alluminum vs. stainless scoop??

I just bought my first water detector (Surfmaster PI) and I'm in the market for a long handled scoop. What are the pros and cons of aluminum vs. stainless? Appreciate the help.....Rich.

I am not saying the Beach Brute II is the best scoop made, only that it is the best for me....I want to be able to recover a target as quick as possible when I am in the surf before the next wave hits me, because of the size of the Beach Brute it digs big holes fast, it is a backhoe.....

I also like the fact I can balance it on my shoulder, and hook my arm over the handle and it balances there, my arm is relaxed, and it makes it very comfortable to carry when I am not dragging it to mark where I have been. I love the design of the handle, it makes it very easy to start a hole with out having to lean the handle all the way forward to get a good bite in the ground...

Sorry I don't have a picture of it with my detector yet, will take one tomorrow, it is in my truck and it is pouring rain outside now.....
