Went to an old road in the woods and found an overlook that has been used for drinking and parties for many years. Old fire pits and beer bottle tops abound. Started to find isolated change here and there and decided to go more slowly. Got a signal that read penny then dime and it bounced around a couple of more times. Usually means junk on my md. Decided to dig and hit a 1958 franklin halve, a 1944 washington quarter, a 1938 merc(my first, which was one of my goals when i got my machine) a 1954 jefferson nickle, a 1944 wheat penny. All i needed was a silver dollar to complete the cycle, but alas, no. Old roads have been good to me, don't get quantity, but usually find quality. This general area has produced most of the silver coins I have found to date. Still no camera, so no pix. PFP

Congrats on almost hitting the cycle. Now that you are finding that silver you might be able to get a camera so we can see those great finds. Good luck and HH. :) Burdie
