You can read the fine print on that shinny nickel looking threw that lithic.
It surely looks like flattop. Please try and get a glow shot. There my favorite.

beautiful finds! glad you saved it from the cows. i had the pleasure of finding a point years back, broken in the center of a fresh deer print. it was what got be back into looking for artifacts.

Thanks, yeah, about 60-70% of points I find are obsidian.
 

Dang! That thin slicer would have been crushed. Elko, What a stunner! What is the material?

Side note: I did not know that cows could survive in Nevada.

Nevada is 63% public lands, and of that about 95% has range cattle and wild horses and burros. A point on the surface hardly stands a chance.
