✅ SOLVED Aluminum or silver spike

My dad found this 9" aluminum or silver spike while we were out detecting? Anybody know what this is?
We thought it may have been a railway spike of some kind.

Could have been used as a punch or drift for any number of things, from installing bearing races in a hub to knocking out a rusty bolt.
