When I asked if they had any halves today the teller told me that someone brought in $300.00 worth but he said that he was a coin collector. She told me that they had been searched and that If I did not want them it was ok. I have gotten teller try and CWR silver at this branch before so I told her I would still take them.
HOW THE HELL DO MISS SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!!!
When I poured the roll out into my hand it nearly blinded me. LOL

Obviously a silver miner who doesn't care about proofs and who also was unaware that there are post 1970-dated coins which include silver. I think some of those silver miners have myopia. Seriously!

That is a sweet coin. I was hunting some boxes this week and came up with a 2000 S that is clearly and blindingly silver. Even for those that don't collect/keep proofs, it is obvious that they are silver and worth a decent price. I'll take them every day of the week!!....Brad

Great advice and great find!! Was there anything else in the bunch?

I found a 76 Silver proof gave to my daughter as she was born in 76.

I knew it was silver from the first pictures, its hard to mistake the whiteness of silver for the greyness of clad. Congrats on the silver proof!

Wait a silver miner, would have edge hunted this one. What a lucky find. I hate the feeling that I may have missed a dirty 90%/40% coin during edge hunting rolls. Excellent work!
