Amaryllis

If the weather doesn't do anything crazy we should have a nice bed of Amaryllis this year. A couple have already bloomed. I couldn't get out to take pictures until just before dark because it rained all day. Thank you Lord, for the rain.

How long do your blooms last/,here in Austin,TX. mine last for about 2-3 weeks and then it's over.

That's about right, depending on the weather. I think the rain causes them to fade sooner. And, we have been blessed with a good rainfall amount this season.

They are opening up nicely.
