Pieces were carried from state to state and Native Americans traveled all over...there is no set rule on an artifact.
 
That's what I was thinking they have found Dover flint in Canada so it was moved around lol
 
Nice blade and hoe finds. You know where to find them. Great artifacts!!

I'm extremely Interested in the Second Picture With the Orange Background, Is That A Metal Piece?? And Could You Please Tell Me What You Know About That Piece . Thank You So Much For Sharing !!
 
Thank you and that is a stone . It would be a fossil from what I have learned say a root grown into the mud millions of years ago then it became fossilized . As I find these a lot this one has some man made trimming marks on it and is very polished in the groove . Given that and that it was found in context with a lot of other NA artifacts I believe it was used for smoothing wooden shafts by the Native Americans . I hope this helps and again I am no expert but I am learning how to put 2 and 2 together

Yes it sure is .... Dover chert was prized for making long blades it actually breaks apart in sheets most sheets were around 1/2 inch when broke off ill get pics when I get home
