I guess I should add this recently found one. I actually went back to the original creek I found this one in and saw so much gravel it was overwhelming me. I didn’t find anything but should have imo.

We don't really have Adenas other than a few Dicksons around here. I think I would call it a Gary.

During our river hunts in years past we would come across the occasional bison skull. This in situ skull had just recently eroded out at the base of a high cutbank about 15 feet below the surface.

I am fortune to have lived and hunted in a portion of the Great Plains that has produced many fine artifacts as well as the remains of numerous bison.

That is an awesome skull and an extinct species at that! Have you ever found anything from the bison latifrons with the long horns?

We have found some nice sized extinct species bison skulls but nothing close to a Latifrons.

That is a very nice display, I have only found the fossil leg bones. Hopefully I will find a whole skull.
