American by birth, Patriot by choice.

I would rather die standing on my two feet defending our Constitution than live a lifetime on my knees......

:notworthy: Absolutely, those game pieces are stunning finds! You are blessed with such an opportunity to be able to find them. I would love to find just one of them.

Very nice game pieces. I like looking at those very interesting.:headbang: Fantastic Steve !!!

Do you suppose that any of those bone pieces with the holes in the center may have been used in hair adornment?

That's some great artifacts! You could open your own museum.

Those are amazing Steve. Some very interesting and beautiful pieces. I believe I now own three of the ones you pictured. Thank you very much for trading me those. I truly cherish them and they will never leave my collection as long as I still have a breath in my body.

i am thinking maybe not real old......maybe less than 700 yrs BP?

thanks everybody for the kind word

i am gonna see if i can get some images of johns game pieces and then post them.....i think he has quite a few

i see the one game was also called shawe
these here don't like a set
it should be 7 pieces and one of the rarer type had a bffalo face on it i think?

Is it documented anywhere on how some of the games were played or are they lost to history?

either john or me have a book that tells how a few of the games are played and scored

if i can find it i will post it for you

the basket game with the 7 small bone pieces has a very complex set of rules..........
.......the 7 pieces are put in the basket and thrown like dice, how they land determines how they are scored
