Research and getting permission paid off this evening. Right where I figured it would be I started finding shells bricks and pottery. Coins for me were far and few between but I found I 1776 spanish reale, some nice buckles , taps and a early 1800 large cent.

I love that cornfield picture. You had an awesome day. Congratulations.

Sheesk you east coast guys get a bunch of great coins. Seems that your sandboxes over there are just brimming with reales, colonials, large cents, etc... haha

Spanish silver is always awsome find !!!

Beautiful coins indeed . Love the cornfield pic as well.

" few and far between" is fine when it's Spanish silver that pops out. Great coin and nice buckles too. Looks like a fun spot

Great relics man ! Would those Barrel taps have been for beer ?

That does looks like a great, relaxing time.... until you come across a Reale! Congrats, man!

Thanks guys....

We were there for two hours so, pretty much just scratched the surface.. My hunting partner was in a different part of the field and found 2 draped bust LCs 2 KGs 1 NJ copper and his first Flying Eagle cent.

This is what detecting in the Northeast is all about...

Great finds & congrats on that beautiful Spanish silver!

Nice reale, thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys, it is a half reale, whoops sorry the picture is rotated wrong

Wow that's awesome! I wish there was revolutionary era stuff to find here in SoCal.

Good lord man. You guys covered 1/1000 of 1% of that field. That's 10 years of hunting with 5 months of frozen ground and 5 months of crops. I'd kill for a field that size! Sweet find!!!

Ha, the scary thing is I took that picture at about the middle of the farm, not from the edge
