Found 2 months ago on a creek bank 200 yards from an Artifact Museum.

Those are just rocks. Nothing on them shows any man made alterations such as grinding, pecking, or polish. The material would not be suitable for use as a tool either. Too soft.

I do not see any shaping action.

The material looks like limstone, but its difficult to tell

I'm from Pa. What artefact museum? I have some close associations with many. I can probably help you better identify if you actually have something or not.

I did not ask to see your collection, I merely told you I could help you with this particular item. There is a cool phone app that I use that you might be interested in. It’s called Rock Identifier. I use it frequently when I am out with my One group, searching for minerals, fossils, and other interesting items. It’s very helpful in identifying the base material. Base material will give you a good idea on whether or not it is a NA artefact.

When you find a real axe/celt you'll toss those rocks out in a pile. The difference is that obvious. I kind of think you're just messing with us. Fun.
