Thank goodness no one is calling for boosters yet for ticks.
Here in this neck of the woods the ticks can be a problem from around May to July that is about three boosters right there one for each month to keep the ticks away...........

Yep, it is time to keep a closer eye on pets and perhaps people too as this year is likely to have more ticks.
Some will think this is just fear reporting, yet this year could be on the rise in numbers of ticks depending on local conditions etc.

Just wash up good as soon as you get home and throw your clothes in the washer.

I have given my dog the chewable tick medicine. Once a month for 3 or 4 months. Seems to work good and keeps them from getting tick born diseases.

What are the health departments out east saying about this topic?

No one is saying squat. I never seen a tick until about 10 years ago. Found one on the dog.

Then I want cutting a few small limbs off a tree. Went inside to clean up and grab dinner. One ran down my arm. Took my shirt off to shower and had one attached near my armpit. Took it off and a few days later had a bullseye. 30 days of doxycycline later I was fine. Now I put down 10 bags of triazcide per season.

That’s not really enough for me. I’ve walked through a hatch before. There was likely 1000 all in a 40’ radius. All perched on top of the grass waiting to jump on you.

I’d pay good money to see a tick run. They are crazy sneaky slow.
